Maple Roasted Brussel Sprouts
Maple roasted shredded Brussel sprouts are my all time favorite snack or dinner side! This is a great tasting paleo recipe, which would be perfect to make for a family get-together. Roasted Brussel sprouts are nothing like Brussel sprouts, as the key is to cook them for around 45 minutes until they are nice and crispy! The addition of the maple syrup makes it dare I say it, almost dessert-like!
Ingredients:
-1 bag of shredded brussel sprouts (if you can’t find shredded Brussels, feel free to use mini brussel sprouts, but cut them up into small chunks)
-4 tablespoons of maple syrup
-Olive oil
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
2. Place the shredded brussel sprouts on your tray and drizzle some olive oil over the brussels.
3. Pour the maple syrup over the brussel sprouts and make sure that everything is evenly coated.
4. Place in the oven to cook for about 45 minutes until the brussels are nice and crispy.
5. Once they are done cooking, enjoy!
Recipe Notes:
*You can usually find shredded brussel sprouts at your local grocery store, but if you can’t find any, feel free to chop up mini brussel sprouts.
